These Healthy Sloppy Joes are made with lean floor pork and hidden veggies. This is a healthful and flavorful take on the traditional sandwich.
- 1 pound lean floor beef
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon organized yellow mustard
- ¾ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- salt and floor black pepper to taste
Heat skillet over medium-excessive warmness; prepare dinner and stir pork, onion, inexperienced bell pepper, carrots, and garlic till pork is browned approximately 10 minutes. Drain off liquids.
