Our budget-pleasant beef and apple burgers are best for a clean and scrumptious family supper. This clean midweek meal takes simply ten mints to prepare.
- 300g sausage meat
- 4 whole meal burger buns
- 4 tsp onion marmalade
- 2 apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 handfuls rocket
- 2 tsp mayonnaise
- A bit English mustard (optional)
- Sweet potato wedges, to serve (optional)
Divide the sausage meat into 4 quantities and form into patties. Fry in a non-stick pan for 10-12 mints, flipping multiple times, till golden on each aspects and cooked all of the manner through.
Heat grill to high. Slice the buns in 1/2 of and toast below the grill, cut-aspect up.
Spread the lowest halves of the toasted buns with the marmalade, then add the burgers, apple slices, rocket, mayonnaise and mustard (if using). Top with the bun lids and serve along sweet potato wedges, in case you like.
